Excalibur crossbows

I love recurve crossbows. If you've read anything else on this website you've probably already figured that out. I'm happy to say that I am not alone in my obsession.

Excalibur crossbows of Canada also obsesses about - and specializes in - recurve crossbows. Excalibur offers 5 models currently, ranging from the 90 lb. draw Point Blanc to the incomparable 200 lb. draw Exomag, which hurtles it's lethal bolts through the air at speeds exceeding 330 fps. There's even a crossbow specifically designed for women or smaller hunters - the Vixen. And new for 2005 - the Phoenix.

They'll be the first to admit that Excalibur crossbows aren't very sexy to look at, but that moose in your sights doesn't really give a rip anyway, so why should you care? The performance, power, and reliability of Excalibur crossbows is legendary. Talk to someone who owns one, and you'll quickly discover a repeat customer.

While not as expensive as some higher-end compound crossbows, Excalibur crossbows are more expensive than the recurves offered by most other manufacturers. They're definitely not a "introduce you to the sport" crossbow...they're for serious hunters.

If you're interested in picking up a new recurve crossbow, give Excalibur a try - you won't regret it.

Good luck in your hunt for Excalibur crossbows.
